Automatic Updates after a delay

I would like updates to automatically trigger in end user accounts after a given delay.

Example: A client installs a package. A part of that package starts a countdown that will push an Update to the parter at pre-defined dates. 1 Week after install, 2 weeks.

!!!Even cooler would be to push based on activity metrics, or other pre-defined criteria.!!!
