@Steve Bussey - I know task queues are supported, but I haven't tested to see if tasks are yet. For what it's worth here, a short-term work around here that might be worth sharing with the community is that we can accomplish this by doing the following:

Method A (Viable)

• Create a workflow that creates the tasks.

• Bulk assign the tasks from the task list

Method B (Better)

• Opt into the beta for Add data to users with custom user properties.

• Create a custom user property to act as a trigger. e.g., start_date.

• Use that new property or properties to act as workflow triggers/branch criteria additional triggers/criteria that handles user assignment.
