Improved Feature

Action Plan + Tasks

Improved Feature: UI Improvements for Action Plan Phases

We have made a number of improvements to the UI of action plan phases.

Phase due date:

  • You can now attach a due date to a phase (or a number of days in a template).

  • This is for information purposes and will be displayed red if overdue.

  • Use cases:

    • Project management: Give each phase of your project or grouping of tasks a due date to ensure you’re staying on track with deadlines.

    • Team onboarding or 30-60-90 plan: Set your new team members up for success with clear deadlines of important onboarding tasks or measuring their first 90 days.

Import templated phases:

  • When creating a new phase, you can now choose an existing action plan template phase to import.

  • Benefit/use case example:

    • Customized onboarding or training with ease:

      • Step 1: Build out a company wide onboarding or training template that everyone uses for new hires.

      • Step 2: Build out a role or team specific template where each phase is unique to the new hire. Set up the company wide action plan first then import whichever phase is unique to the new hire (i.e. marketing team / rev ops / engineering).

“Next →” button:

  • There is now a “Next →” button at the bottom of a phase.

  • This action will take you to the next phase and scrolls to the top of the page.

  • Benefits:

    • Clearer direction on what to do once a phase is completed, guiding the user towards the next phase.

    • Quicker access to the next phase vs. scrolling back up to click into the next phase. This is really beneficial when your action plan sections and tasks are lengthy within a certain phase.
