New Feature
Processes
Required Plan: Everyone

You now have more capabilities when it comes to selecting users and groups for a process rule. Previously, you could assign users and groups to a rule and now you can also exclude users and groups, if needed.
Excluded Users & Groups: New audience targeting capability
Opt out: This allows admins and team members to opt themselves (or entire groups) out of a rule even when they fall within the targeted audience.
Where it lives: On the rule configuration page within the ‘Audience’ tab, sectioned underneath the existing audience selector.
How it works: Exclusions override audience inclusion
Applies to: ‘All Users’ and ‘Specific Users & Groups’ audience types
Exclusion overrides: No matter how broad or narrow the audience, exclusions take precedence over the included selections.
Two exclusion types:
Individual: Exclude yourself or a specific teammate by name
Groups: Exclude a whole group (e.g., Management) in one shot
Why it matters: Solves the “I’m in the group but shouldn’t see this” problem.
Manager use case: A manager in the Sales Reps group can stay in the group to see what reps see, but exclude themselves (or the management group) so rules targeting reps don't fire in their own HubSpot instance.
Cleaner experience: Admins and leaders avoid noise from rules that aren't meant for them, without leaving the groups they need to be in.
